While the salmon rest we invite you to experience luxorious peace and quiet at Helgavatn Lodge by the Thverá River. We are now open for bookings for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 winter seasons with multiple levels of service available.

Enchanting Lodge
The newly renovated accommodation at Thverá lodge is luxurious and set in magnificent natural scenery. The lodge offers a large and attractive living room, a dining room and a large terrace with great views of the river and its surroundings. There are seven twin-bedded suites and seven twin-bedded rooms with a private shower.
There is an outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace and an outdoor Finnish sauna where one can relax after a day’s fishing. The Lodge has Wifi, TV and a music system.

Our lodge team, headed by Chef Aron Leevi Þrastarson, are committed to making your stay memorable and enjoyable. We aim to offer a premium dining experience whilst catering to the needs and preferences of your group at all times.
